Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide call-only coverage for obstetrics and gynecology patients
- Respond to beeper calls with a 30-minute response time
- Manage deliveries, emergent gynecologic cases, and inpatient consultations
- Perform admissions (0-5 per shift) and patient assessments (0-10 patients per 24 hours on average)
- Utilize daVinci Xi Robot if robotics trained or experienced
- Ensure compliance with all required certifications and hospital protocols
Additional Information
- Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Indiana medical license required by start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Robotics training or experience preferred
