Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: On-call coverage for the first 2 weeks of each month. 24-hour call shifts from 6am-6am with 30-minute response time. Not in-house; will respond as needed. Specific dates include:
- 2/11 6am - 2/14 6am
- 3/11 6am - 3/15 6am
- 4/1 6am - 4/15 6am
- 5/1 6am - 5/17 6am
- Job Setting: Hospital System
- Types of Cases: Low risk and high risk pregnancy, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs), FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I/screening), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, office/minor gynecology, surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic), miscarriage management
- Credentialing: 60-90 days typical timeline. Privileging timeline begins upon submission of RFA (48-72 hour turnaround) and application (within 5 days). Temporary privilege eligibility may be available once file is completed. 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in specialty required. Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained. Current case logs required upon presentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible required
- Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Licensure: CA license required. IMLC not accepted.
