OBGYN Locum – Dec Coverage Needed | Clinic + Call | San Antonio, TX

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN for an urgent December locums assignment in San Antonio, Texas, providing both clinic and call coverage from December 8, 2025, through January 1, 2026. This is a high-volume inpatient/outpatient role requiring clean malpractice to qualify for emergency privileges.

Assignment Details

• Location: San Antonio, TX

• Start Date: 12/08/2025

• End Date: 01/01/2026

• Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

• Trauma Level: III

• EMR: Cerner

• Support Staff: 4 MAs + 1 NP/PA

• Patients per Day: 25–30

Schedule

• Clinic + Call: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p

• Night Call: Required

• Weekend Call: 24-hour call

• Must be fully available for the entire December period

Required Skills

• High-risk pregnancy management

• Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)

• OB Ultrasounds – Level I & II (performance + interpretation)

• Vaginal deliveries, low forceps, c-section decision-making

• Office/minor GYN (IUDs, colposcopy, cystoscopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified OBGYN

• Active Texas license (required)
  

• Clean malpractice (required to pass emergency privileges)

Credentialing: ~90 days
