Job description We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 12-day locum tenens assignment in Vermont starting Jan 2, 2026. This role involves 24-hour out of house call coverage for deliveries and patient rounding, with preferred weekday clinic shifts from 8am to 5pm. Candidates must have at least 2 years of post-residency experience and be comfortable handling regular deliveries, C-sections, and ectopic pregnancies.   • Schedule: 24-hour (7am–7am) out of house call coverage on Jan 2–5, Jan 23–26, and Feb 3–9, 2026; Weekday clinic coverage (8am–5pm) is highly preferred Jan 2, Jan 23, Feb 3–6

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide 24-hour out of house call coverage for deliveries and inpatient rounding
  • Remain within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call
  • Manage regular deliveries, C-sections, and ectopic pregnancies as needed
  • Cover clinic shifts from 8am to 5pm on designated weekdays, if willing
  • Participate in beeper call after clinic hours (5pm–8am) on weekdays when covering clinic
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and documentation

Additional Information
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Minimum 2 years out of residency required
  • Vermont state medical license required
  • Must be able to cover all specified dates to be considered
