We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity begins Jan 16, 2026, and features 24-hour call coverage across several multi-day blocks. The role involves managing high-risk deliveries and providing comprehensive OB and GYN care within a Nursery. Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is required, and candidates must hold current ACLS, BLS, DEA, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and on-call obstetric and gynecologic care
  • Manage and attend high-risk deliveries
  • Perform OB and GYN consultations and procedures as required
  • Respond to emergent and routine calls for labor and delivery
  • Document all patient encounters in Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and ancillary providers to ensure quality patient care


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active New Mexico medical license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), DEA, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
  • Experience with Nursery preferred
