VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - OB/GYN.

  • Description: LOCUM- OBGYN JOB DETAILS: *UPDATE IN DATES NEEDED* We need urgent December and January OBGYN call coverage. Specific dates are below: - Jan 2-5 6am - Jan 13-18th 6am Provider will not be inhouse, will just be on 24hr call between 6am-6am with a response time of 30 minutes if needed in person. Please note billing of call back only applies when the provider physically goes back into the hospital. We will need ongoing 2026 coverage, we will be opening up a separate search for those dates as those will not require a clean file. REQUIRED: - Provider MUST have a clean file in order to cover these dates as we will need to seek temporary privileges. - CA license is required - Must be board certified or truly Board Eligible. - Certified in BLS and NRP - Miscarriage Management OTHER NOTES: - Please note that the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours. Application should be submitted within 5 days. - Typical privileging timeline is 90 days. - Once the file is completed, we can look at temporary privilege eligibility. - All specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty. - Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained. - Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties.
  • 1099 Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request)
  • Certification Requirements: Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application.
