About the Position

🌟 Opportunity Overview

A community-focused hospital in Tiffin, Ohio is seeking 1–2 Locum OB/GYN Physicians for ongoing 24-hour call coverage. Join a collaborative team, support L&D and GYN patients, and step into a balanced practice with a mix of deliveries, surgeries, and consults.

• December 22–23

2026:

• January 15–19

• January 29–February 2

• February 26–March 2

• April 2–6

• April 23–27

🕒 Schedule

• 24-Hour Call (8a–8a)

• Call is not in-house

• Weekend call required as part of schedule

• Includes call backs

🏥 Clinical Environment

• Setting: ER/GYN & L&D call

• Beds:

  • 10 LDRP

  • 3 Postpartum

  • 1 Triage

  • 12-bed newborn nursery (no SCN)

• Team: 2 physicians + 5 CNMs

• GYN Volume: 40–50% (1–4 surgeries per day)

• C-sections: 15–35%

• Newborn Census: 3–4/day

• Peds Census: 0–1 every few months

• EMR: EPIC

• REQUIRED: Must perform C-sections and all OB/GYN surgical procedures

🧑‍⚕️ Required Qualifications

• Board Certified OB/GYN – REQUIRED

• Ohio License – REQUIRED

  • IMLC may be considered for listed dates

• NRP & ACLS – REQUIRED

• Flu Vaccine – REQUIRED

• COVID Vaccine – PREFERRED

• Clean malpractice/background – REQUIRED

• NPDB Self-Query – REQUIRED

• Availability must match open dates

• Standard/economy rates approved for all other travel

🕒 Credentialing

• 60–90 days

• Emergency temp privileges possible for providers with:
  ✔ Clean background
  ✔ Active OH license
  ✔ Active DEA
