OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening – Kalamazoo, MI
Full-Time | Hospital-Employed | 12–13 Shifts/Month
Overview:
Kalamazoo, Michigan offers an exceptional full-time opportunity to join a new and growing OB/GYN Hospitalist program. Seking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join a large, collaborative women’s health team within a highly respected health system.
Team Structure:
• 6 OB/GYN Hospitalists
• 24 OB/GYN Generalists
• 4 Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists
• 29 Certified Nurse Midwives
• 7 Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners
Position Highlights:
• Provide labor & delivery coverage, including high-risk obstetrical patients
• Serve as midwifery backup and collaborate closely with CNMs
• Work with residents, medical students, and MFM specialists
• Provide GYN consultations in the Emergency Department
• Perform urgent GYN surgical procedures
• 12–13 shifts per month (12-hour shifts)
• Patient-centered environment with strong interdisciplinary support
Hospital & Facilities:
• 45-bed Level III NICU
• 34-bed pediatric unit
• 12-bed PICU
• 24/7 MFM and neonatology coverage
