Our client, a reputable community-based multi-specialty Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Orange County, NY, is hiring a dedicated Obstetrician Gynecologist (OBGYN) Physician to join their Women’s Health practice. This growing practice offers a comprehensive range of obstetrics and gynecology services, including maternal-fetal medicine, prenatal and GYN care, social work support, sonography, and in-house laboratory services, with the option to incorporate midwifery services. The role provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a supportive environment that prioritizes patient-centered care and professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services to a diverse patient population.
  • Participate in prenatal, postpartum, and GYN clinics, with the potential for GYN surgical days in hospital.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including maternal-fetal medicine specialists, midwives, social workers, and support staff.
  • Manage on-call responsibilities with 1-24 hour shifts at the affiliated hospital, ensuring high-quality emergency care.
  • Support patient education, preventive care, and follow-up treatments to enhance health outcomes.
  • Contribute to practice growth, including the opportunity to expand the GYN program.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Valid license to practice in New York State.
  • Excellent clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology, with a patient-centric approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to handle on-call duties, including emergency care responsibilities.
