🩺 Description
A strategic leadership role for an experienced OB/GYN physician to guide clinical and utilization management activities, drive quality-of-care standards, and support population-based healthcare initiatives within Dallas, TX. This role offers the opportunity to impact patient care at scale and collaborate with cross-functional clinical and administrative teams.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide clinical oversight and review of prior authorizations & appeals
• Support utilization, disease & quality management programs
• Contribute to development of medical policy and evidence-based clinical guidelines
• Evaluate provider performance, credentials & compliance
• Participate in fraud, waste, & abuse oversight
• Engage with state regulatory bodies as needed
• Assist in operational process improvement
• Serve on clinical committees & contribute to organizational strategic goals
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations & compliance standards
Qualifications
• Board Certified in OB/GYN — Required
• Texas medical license or ability to obtain — Required
• Experience in managed care & utilization management — Required
• Clean malpractice & licensing history — Preferred
• Strong leadership, communication & decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of Texas Medicaid regulations — Required
Working Hours
Part-time with flexible scheduling; may include call & occasional weekends depending on operational need
