Job description
Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to provide urgent holiday and ongoing call coverage for emergent GYN needs and OB deliveries. This role is strictly 24-hour call with inpatient and ER responsibilities at a Level III Trauma Center. Ideal candidates are local/drive-in providers who can meet the EMR training timeline and cover the required November dates.
Dates / Schedule

Ongoing Needs:

9–10 shifts/month across all locums

Providers scheduled for no more than 2–3 consecutive days (max 4 for safety)

24-hour call (7a–7a)

Must be willing and able to work 24-hour shifts

OB deliveries

C-sections

Average Call-Back: ~6.62 hours worked per shift

Volume:

~1 admission/day
-
~30 deliveries/month

8-bed unit

Support Staff: RNs
-
EMR: EPIC
-
Mandatory modules + virtual training completed before start date

AD account creation may take 5 days; credentialing pieces must be submitted within 72 hours

Additional Notes:

Covers OB backup for family practice (no midwives)
- Providers required to stay at Hampton Inn, Longmont (when available)

Local/drive-in candidates highly preferred

Required Skills & Qualifications
-
Board Certified OB/GYN – Required
-
Active CO license or active IMLC (LOQ in hand) – Required
-
Active DEA – Highly preferred (or ability to transfer and maintain it for the duration)

OB/GYN residency completion – Required
-
Ability to cover listed dates & specify number of shifts/month – Required

Must be able and willing to work 24-hour shifts – Required

Must acknowledge and comply with EPIC training sequence – Required

Clean malpractice/background (or up to $100k settlements with clean background) – Required

Local/drive-in provider – Highly preferred

Understanding of preferred lodging requirement – Required
