Position Overview

A hospital in Arizona is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN for 24-hour beeper call coverage over the holiday week. Providers will take call from home, responding as needed. OB locums are also expected to “cover” Nurse Midwife—handling any escalated needs.

Shift & Call Details

• 5-day block: Dec 24 (7am) → Dec 29 (7am)

• 24-hour call (7a–7a)

• Deliveries per shift: 0–1

• Average callbacks: 0–2

• Home call with in-hospital response when needed

Practice Details

• Hospital size: 99 beds

• Practice Setting: Hospital

• EMR: Cerner

• Expected to provide backup for Nurse Midwife if needed

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN

• AZ license or IMLC
