A community health hospital is seeking an OB/GYN to provide hospital-based collaboration and surgical back-up to a team of Certified Nurse Midwives. The schedule is a predictable, two-shift-per-week position with no office duties and meaningful impact in a supportive, rural community.
Key Highlights:
- Schedule: Two 24-hour shifts weekly (Wed–Fri, 7 AM–7 AM)
- Scope: Surgical back-up only—no clinic, office, or nursery coverage
- Volume: ~450 deliveries annually (~10 per week); 3 CNMs on staff
- C-Sections: Performed as needed; high-risk deliveries transferred out
- Compensation: ~$350k, 136 PTO hours, CME, full benefits, malpractice covered, incentives available
