Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN

Summary:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at a state-of-the-art facility in Longmont, Colorado. The hospital is looking for a locum OB/GYN to provide urgent coverage during the holiday season for emergent GYN and OB deliveries. The role requires effective teamwork in a supportive environment while ensuring high-quality care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a) for obstetrics and gynecological emergencies.
• Manage a caseload of 30 deliveries per month.
• Perform necessary procedures, including C-sections and GYN emergencies.
• Support and collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
• Complete required EMR training and documentation within stipulated timelines.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN.
• Completion of an OB/GYN residency program.
• Clean malpractice history or up to $100k in malpractice settlements with a clean background.
• Availability for the specified dates in the job description.
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts and provide the number of shifts per month that can be offered.
• Local or drive-in candidates preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Colorado medical license or Active IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at submission).
• Active DEA license preferred; candidates may be considered with a transferred DEA.
