Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide on-call inpatient hospital coverage for labor and delivery
- Manage deliveries (80-90 annually, lower census)
- Perform cesarean sections and post-operative care
- Handle mother-baby care during call periods
- Respond to emergent obstetric and gynecologic cases as needed
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Iowa medical license
- ABOG board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- C-section experience highly preferred
- Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
- No schedule flexibility; coverage specifically needed for stated dates
