Job Details

- Schedule: Every Monday 7am-7am; one weekend per month from Friday 7am to Monday 7am (out-of-house call)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise midwives during weekday day shifts (Monday-Friday 7am-7pm)
- Serve as the primary on-call provider from 7pm-7am on Mondays and throughout weekend call
- Manage all labor and delivery cases, including vaginal deliveries and VBACs
- Respond to emergency gynecologic cases and surgeries
- Handle patients presenting through the emergency department and emergent clinic calls (5-10 per shift)
- Perform C-sections and rare gynecologic surgeries
- Provide comprehensive care for all L&D and emergency GYN cases during call shifts
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Ohio medical license
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Prior experience in supervising midwives and managing high-acuity L&D cases strongly preferred
