Locums – OB Hospitalist
Location: Bardstown, Kentucky
Setting: Inpatient
Reason for Coverage: Provider resignation
Availability
- Dates Needed: December 20–25, ongoing coverage into 2026
- Call: Provider is on first call
- Admissions: Varies (rural hospital)
- Patient rounding
- Management of labors
- Management of antepartum triage and treatment
- Responding to ED consults related to OB/GYN issues
- Vaginal deliveries
- C-sections
- Management of maternal hypertension
- Management of maternal hemorrhage
- ER consults
- D&C
- Ablations
- Hysterectomy
- Urgent gynecologic surgeries as needed
- Estimated Deliveries: ~30 per month
- Midwives on staff: No
- Support Staff: RNs on L&D
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certification: Board Certified (required
- State License: Active Kentucky license (required)
- Certifications: ACLS and DEA required for credentialing
