Job Opportunity: Locum OB/GYN Physician in Tiffin, Ohio
Join a dedicated team at a well-established healthcare facility in Tiffin, Ohio, where you can make a difference in the lives of patients. This locum position offers the chance to provide on-call coverage in a supportive environment, working alongside experienced staff in a facility with 10 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) beds, and a robust practice comprising 2 physicians and 5 certified nurse midwives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-call coverage in the Hospital ER/GYN and Labor & Delivery.
- Perform C-sections and all OB/GYN-related surgeries.
- Manage the delivery and care of newborns with an average daily census of 3-4 newborns.
- Conduct 1-4 gynecological surgeries per day.
- Adhere to documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Handle nursery admissions, with an average of 2-5 admissions per day.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required).
- Active Ohio medical license (Required, may consider IMLC).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Required).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required).
- Availability for specified dates (Required).
- Completion of self-query NPBD report prior to presentation (Required).
- Clean background check for consideration of temporary privileges (Required).
- COVID and flu vaccinations are preferred at the time of credentialing.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Ohio state medical license.
- Current certifications in NRP and ACLS.
