Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join an established, highly collaborative team at Desert Regional Medical Center in beautiful Palm Springs, California—a place where most people vacation, and you get to live.

📌 Position Highlights

• Full-Time: ~7.5 in-house 24-hour shifts/month (≈ 2,190 hours annually)
• Part-Time Option: Minimum ~5.5 24-hour shifts/month (≈ 1,560 hours annually) – benefit eligible
• Never Alone: 2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24/7
• Setting: Located just outside the city; busy tertiary care environment

🩺 Clinical Responsibilities

• Delivery attendance
• OB triage and ER coverage
• Surgical assists
• Patient evaluation & management
• Fetal monitoring
• Collaboration with MFM team for consults and rounding
• Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students

🏥 About the Facility

• 387-bed tertiary acute care hospital
• Only Level I Trauma Center in the Coachella Valley
• Serves 8,000+ square miles of Southeastern California
• ~60 deliveries per month
• 30-bed Level III Community NICU (accepts newborns ≥23 weeks)
• MFM and neonatology support on-site

💼 Requirements

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN — Required
• California medical license or willingness to obtain — Required
• OB Hospitalist experience — Preferred
• Must reside within the immediate local area (relocation may be required)
• Not accepting Locums or visa candidates
