Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician – Leadership Opportunity
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician with a focus on leadership and excellence. As Medical Director, you will help stabilize the department, implement streamlined processes and workflows, and collaborate closely with a dedicated team. This position is ideal for an experienced surgeon with leadership experience who is passionate about mentoring others and advancing women’s health.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven leadership experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or director role
- Strong surgical background, with robotic surgery training preferred
- Exceptional decision-making skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
- Ability to lead and stabilize a department through process improvement
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with surgical mentoring programs
- Prior experience in a medical director role
- Additional certifications in minimally invasive or robotic surgery
- Familiarity with department workflow optimization
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Five or more years of post-residency clinical and leadership experience
- Leadership training or management certifications are a plus
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start around February 2026
- Flexible schedule, full-time commitment
- Willingness to assist with search and interviewing for future Medical Director candidates
- Responsibilities include some night or callback duties; specifics to be clarified
- Travel and licensure expenses covered as applicable
