Job description Locums OB-GYN Generalist – Fishers, Indiana Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Location: Fishers, IN Licensing: Active Indiana License or IMLC Accepted Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (Required) Key Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (required)

  • Active Indiana medical license or IMLC

  • BLS certification (required)

  • Must be able to perform in-office procedures:

    • IUD insertion/removal

    • Nexplanon insertion/removal

    • Colposcopy

    • Endometrial biopsy

    • NST evaluation

  • EMR: Cerner

  • Trauma Level: I

  • Call type: Beeper; immediate response required

  • Number of providers needed: 4

Schedule and Availability Ambulatory/Clinic-Only Option

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Scope: Outpatient clinic only

Full-Scope Generalist (Clinic + Call)

  • 24-hour shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Daily Structure:

  • Rounding: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

  • Clinic: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Evening/Night Call:

    • Sign out to Laborist at 4:00 PM

    • Remain on pager call until 7:00 AM next day

Scope: Full-scope OB-GYN generalist work including ambulatory clinic, call coverage, admissions, and assigned/unassigned rounding patients

Clinical Details

  • Patients per shift: 16–18

  • Admissions required

  • Immediate call response required
