Physician - OB/GYN

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity starts on Nov 29, 2025, and lasts for 2 days, providing 24-hour continuous call coverage from 8am to 8am. The assignment involves supporting a hospital with a nursery and the ability to transfer patients requiring a higher level of care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour continuous call coverage for obstetric and gynecologic cases
• Manage labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic emergencies
• Respond to patient admissions and consults as needed
• Support a nursery and determine when transfer to higher level care is required for mothers or infants
• Collaborate with hospital staff and follow hospital protocols
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and care

Additional Information

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
• OB GYN background necessary
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina
