- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 4 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 18-24 patients per shift. This full-time opportunity starting in February 2026 is seeking an experienced OBGYN, ideally one provider to cover the entire need. The role is split, focusing on OBGYN duties including OB, GYN, and Surgery, and as a Medical Director to stabilize the department, implement essential processes and workflows, and collaboratively mentor other providers. The incoming physician will also play a key role in the search and interviewing process for the new permanent medical director. Essential qualifications include a minimum of two years of leadership experience, being an experienced surgeon (robotic training is preferred), and possessing proven skills as a surgical mentor. Regarding scheduling and compensation, a 24-hour call rate is requested, and the decision-making timeline is ASAP once a suitable candidate is identified.

Job Responsibilities
* Serve as Medical Director for 20% of the time, focusing on departmental stabilization.
* Implement and refine departmental processes and workflows.
* Mentor and collaborate with other providers.

Qualifications
* Experienced surgeon.
* Experienced surgical mentor.
* Robotic training preferred.
* Commitment of 1.0 FTE or a minimum of 0.8 FTE.
