OBGYN Hospitalist Opening in Fresno, California A Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician is needed to join a dynamic team as an Obstetrics Hospitalist in a supportive Level II NICU hospital environment. This direct-hire role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient obstetrical care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. About the Opportunity This position offers a stable, direct-hire onboarding process with virtual interviews and integration into a modern, well-supported hospital team. Position Highlights -Provide inpatient obstetrical care in a hospital with a Level II NICU -Work in a collaborative, high-acuity environment -Patient mix includes inpatient, outpatient, rounding, and clinic -Approximate patient volume: 13–14 patients daily -Average deliveries: 4–5 per 24-hour shift (majority vaginal, ~25% C-section rate) -EPIC EMR used for documentation and care coordination -MUST have delivery experience -No on-call responsibilities Schedule -Five to six 24-hour shifts per month -Shift time: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM -Weekend shifts required -Holiday shifts eligible for premium pay Candidate Parameters -Must be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology -Must hold(or have in progress) required state medical license -Must have: BLS, ACLS, and DEA active prior to start -COVID-19 vaccination required by facility -Fellowship not required -Preferred: 1–5 years of relevant experience (not mandatory) -Not eligible: new grads, truly BE not yet certified, or lapsed board certification -Candidates commuting over 30 minutes or combining with another job are not eligible -Open to visa sponsorship (J1 and H1B) -1099 independent contractor option available Compensation and Benefits -Highly competitive salary based on experience and training -Health insurance with prescription coverage -Dental and vision insurance -Flexible spending accounts (health and dependent care) -Life insurance -Retirement program options -Paid time off: vacation, sick days, paid holidays -Employee Assistance Program
