Locums | OB Hospitalist | No Call | Fresno, CA Why This Role

Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours (No Call) Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Location: Fresno, CA Start Date: TBD (as soon as credentialed) Schedule: 5–6 shifts per month, 24-hour shifts (7a–7a, includes weekends) Average Deliveries: 4–5 per 24 hours (majority vaginal, ~25% C-section) Patient Census: 13–14 per day (inpatient, outpatient, and rounds) EMR: Epic Facility Type: Level II NICU Reason for Need: Supplemental hospitalist coverage Clinical Details Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care including labor and delivery, postpartum management, and surgical procedures. Responsible for routine and high-acuity obstetrical cases, postpartum rounding, and emergency coverage as needed. Fellowship not required. Requirements Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active California medical license BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications (required prior to start) COVID-19 vaccination required 1–5 years of recent OB/GYN experience preferred Clean malpractice and licensing history (reviewed individually if applicable) NPDB self-query required Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Included Travel: Reimbursed
