  • Full-spectrum OB/GYN with in-house lab, ultrasound, and NST
Assignment Details Start/end: Ongoing Schedule: Clinic 4 days/week 8a-4p (1-hr lunch); overnight and weekend call, 1:4; weekend coverage Friday 8a through Monday 8a; beeper call, 20-min response to facility, ~2 callbacks Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call, inpatient and outpatient Volume: ~60 births/month; Level II nursery (delivers 34 weeks and above) Setting: Level 3 trauma, stroke certified, admissions required Support: 2 PA/NPs, 6 office staff; NPs help in practice (no CNMs for hospital) EMR: Athena & Meditech Credentialing: Expedited privileges available with clean history Clinical Details Required scope: Low-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I and II, anatomy scan reading required), routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major), laser certification Preferred scope: High-risk pregnancy, amniocentesis Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients Requirements Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN License: AR or IMLC BLS, PALS, fetal monitoring certification Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
