Locums | OB/GYN Hospitalist | No Call | South Bend, IN (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Provide 24-hour OB/GYN hospitalist coverage in a collaborative, high-acuity women’s health setting.
  • Work alongside maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology specialists in a leading perinatal center.

Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Setting: Inpatient Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, and OB Emergency Department Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts (12-hour options available) Start: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Location: South Bend, IN (between Chicago and Detroit; near University of Notre Dame and Lake Michigan) Clinical Details Annual Deliveries: ~2,000 Average Deliveries per 24-hour Shift: 3 NICU Level: III Perinatal Center Level: III Trauma Level: II Responsibilities include OB triage, admissions, inpatient management, deliveries, surgical assists, and GYN emergency care Collaboration with 7 certified nurse midwives, MFM physicians, and neonatologists Requirements Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active Indiana medical license or IMLC eligible Minimum 1 year of post-residency OB/GYN experience Recent clinical experience within the past 12 months Completion of prescreen questionnaire (required at submission) Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
