Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in South Bend, Indiana (IN). Starting in January 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- Start: January
- Estimated need: 3-6 shifts per month
- Schedule: 24-hour shifts- 12- hour shifts available
- Nicu and Perinatal: Level III
- Trauma: Level II
- Workload: Average 3 deliveries per 24 hours
- Responsibilities: Engage with Obstetric MFM physicians, provide quality care for antepartum and intrapartum high-risk patients, and collaborate with nurse midwives.
Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- IN state license; active, unrestricted or IMLC (Will consider providers obtaining an IN license)
- Board certified OBGYN
- IN State DEA
- 1 year post residency experience
- Recent Clinical OBGYN experience (Within the last 12 months)
