Job description
A hospital in southeastern Ohio is seeking an experienced and board-certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour in-house coverage. The physician will manage obstetric triage, inpatient care, and deliveries in a supportive, team-based environment dedicated to quality outcomes and patient safety.
Job Responsibilities
Manage OB triage, labor and delivery, and postpartum patients.
Perform and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Collaborate effectively with other physicians, nurses, and support staff.
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinical best practices.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in compliance with hospital policies.
Qualifications
Active Ohio Medical License (or IMLC eligible/in process) – Preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent OB/GYN clinical experience – Required
BLS, ACLS, DEA – Required before start
COVID-19 vaccination – Required
Completed CV (MM/YYYY format) with no unexplained gaps.
Working Hours
Schedule: Approximately 5–7 shifts per month
Weekend Requirements: Yes
