Job description Locums – OB Hospitalist | Dover, Ohio (Willing to License – IMLC Accepted) Position Overview Seeking two Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physicians to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage in Dover, Ohio. This is an urgent need with a flexible locums schedule (1–2 weeks per month). IMLC candidates accepted with LOQ in hand. Assignment Details
  • Start Date: January 5, 2026
  • Number of Positions: 2
  • Setting: Hospital and outpatient clinic
  • Beds: 150 total; 6 Labor & Delivery beds
  • Schedule: Combination of onsite/clinic coverage and 24-hour call
  • Frequency: 1–2 weeks per month
  • Daily Rate: Includes 8 hours onsite plus beeper call at night
  • Weekend Call: 24-hour call rate
  • EMR: Epic
Patient Volumes
  • Outpatient Visits: 15–20 per day
  • Deliveries: 1–2 per day (approximately 50–60 deliveries per month)
  • Patient Age Group: Adults
Responsibilities & Procedures
  • Manage Labor & Delivery, including high-risk obstetric cases
  • Perform C-sections
  • Conduct GYN surgeries (laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures)
  • Provide both inpatient and outpatient care
  • Collaborate with support staff including nurses and midwives
Requirements
  • Board Certification: OB/GYN (BC/BE accepted)
  • Licensure: Active Ohio medical license and DEA required
    • IMLC accepted with LOQ in hand
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA – required
  • Experience: Must have clean background
  • Preferred: Local candidates
