### OBGYN Hospitalist opening in Fresno, CA
Location: Fresno, CA
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
### Overview:
A well-established women’s healthcare group in California is seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join their dynamic team as a Hospitalist. This direct-hire opportunity offers the chance to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient obstetrical care in a collaborative environment with a Level II NICU, advanced EMR technology, and strong multidisciplinary support.
* Full-time, direct-hire position
* Schedule: 5–6 shifts per month, each 24 hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
* Weekends required (same schedule as weekdays)
* No on-call responsibilities outside of scheduled shifts
* Setting: Inpatient and outpatient (hospital-based with rounding and clinic responsibilities)
* EMR: Epic
* Average Deliveries: 4–5 per 24-hour shift (majority vaginal, ~25% C-section)
* Must have recent delivery experience

### Responsibilities:
* Provide inpatient obstetric care including deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum management
* Attend high-risk deliveries and manage obstetric emergencies
* Perform gynecologic consultations and procedures as required
* Round on postpartum and antepartum patients
* Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR

### Requirements:
* Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (no BE or lapsed certification accepted)
* Active California medical license or application in progress
* BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications (required prior to start)
* COVID-19 vaccination required
* 1–5 years of relevant practice experience preferred
* NPDB self-query required at time of submission
* Clean malpractice and licensure history (candidates with prior issues may be reviewed individually)
* Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the facility
