An exciting Locum OB/GYN opportunity awaits in the scenic coastal town of Rockport, Maine! Provide compassionate, full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care at a community-focused hospital known for its exceptional patient-centered approach. Enjoy $230/hr, a beautiful coastal setting, and all travel and lodging expenses covered.
Job Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive OB and GYN care for women of all ages.
• Manage pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Perform gynecologic exams, procedures, and surgeries.
• Provide family planning, infertility counseling, and preventative screenings.
• Cover a mix of clinic, day/night call shifts, and one weekend call per month.
Qualifications
• Board Certified in OB/GYN (required).
• Active ME license or IMLC LOQ (highly preferred).
• Strong experience in both obstetrics and gynecology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Hours
• Full-time coverage from June 2026 – December 2026.
• Combination of 12-hour day/night shifts during the week.
• Weekend call: Once per month.
Skills
• Expertise in labor & delivery, high-risk pregnancies, and GYN procedures.
• Skilled in OB ultrasound interpretation, FHR monitoring, and emergency OB care.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR.
• Compassionate, patient-centered care approach.
