Join a leading hospital in Cincinnati, OH as a Locum OB/GYN Laborist providing exceptional care in a collaborative and well-equipped Labor & Delivery unit. This high-demand opportunity offers great pay ($230/hr), flexible scheduling, and full travel and lodging reimbursement — perfect for OB/GYNs seeking a rewarding short-term or ongoing locum experience.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide in-hospital laborist coverage for Labor & Delivery patients.
• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies and complicated deliveries (C-sections, VBACs, breech, etc.).
• Perform FHR interpretations (NST/CST/FSE) and OB ultrasounds (Level I & II).
• Handle emergency obstetric procedures and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with midwives, APPs, and nursing staff for comprehensive patient management.
Qualifications
• Board Certified OB/GYN (ACGME or AOA accredited).
• Active Ohio medical license required.
• Current DEA certification.
• Recent labor and delivery experience within hospital settings.
Working Hours
• 12-hour restricted call shifts (7 AM – 7 PM / 7 PM – 7 AM).
• Weekend coverage required.
• Start Date: December 29, 2025.
Skills
• Expertise in vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Competence in managing high-risk pregnancies.
• Proficient with Epic EMR.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in L&D environments.
