Coverage Needed
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: in-house call for obstetrics and gynecology 4-6 times per month
- Mix of weekdays and weekends
- Office Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
- Call Hours: 7 AM - 7 AM
Clinical Details
- General OB/GYN Physician duties
- Office Practice: Prenatal care and testing, postpartum care, preventive care services, counseling and consultations, office procedures, preoperative evaluation
- Hospital Responsibilities: Triage evaluation, obstetric consultations, labor management, birth attendance, procedures and surgery, gynecological consultations and surgical procedures
- Support Staff: Nursing, technical and perioperative support, CNM/PA weekdays
- In-house anesthesia
- Level 1 nursery with in-house pediatric support
- Volume: 650 births per year, 24 patients per day in office
Requirements
- Procedures Required on Call: Obstetrics including triage evaluation, point of care limited obstetric ultrasound, induction of labor, vaginal birth, laceration repair, OVD, hemorrhage management, Cesarean birth, postpartum sterilization, postplacental IUD placement, Nexplanon insertion; Gynecology including first trimester D&E, surgical management of ectopic pregnancy, torsion, other gyn emergencies
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Must be board certified or board eligible
