Job description
We are seeking experienced and dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalists to join a highly collaborative and supportive hospitalist program in Athens, Ohio. Our program emphasizes teamwork among hospital staff, affiliated obstetricians, family practice physicians, and subspecialists to ensure continuity, quality, and safety of care.
This is an excellent opportunity for board-certified OB/GYNs who are passionate about hospital-based obstetric care and thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.
Position Highlights:
24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
Flexible scheduling to promote a healthy work-life balance
Collaborative relationship with community OBs and subspecialists
Real-time communication with office physicians regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries
Commitment to best practices for improved outcomes, enhanced patient experience, and reduced costs
Involvement in multidisciplinary OB critical care and management of OB/GYN emergency department patients
Schedule: 24-hour in house coverage
Requirements:
Board Certified in OB/GYN
Ohio Medical License – Preferred (IMLC compact eligibility accepted)
Minimum of 1-year recent clinical experience
