Job description
ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician to provide locum tenens coverage beginning November 2025, with ongoing shifts available starting January 2026. The role involves 24-hour call coverage in a low-trauma, community hospital setting, managing labor and delivery as well as general obstetric and gynecologic care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN seeking flexible scheduling and competitive compensation in a collaborative environment.

Initial Coverage: November 27 (7 a.m.) – December 1 (7 a.m.), 2025

Ongoing Coverage: Starting January 2026 (10–15 shifts per month across all locums)

Shift Structure: 24-hour call (7 a.m. – 7 a.m.)

BID Due Date: October 27, 2025, by 5 p.m. EST

FTE: 1.0

Average Deliveries: ~15 per month
Job Details / Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour hospital call coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients.

Manage labor, deliveries, and postpartum care for adult, geriatric, and adolescent populations.

Perform general OB/GYN procedures (no trauma).

Collaborate with RNs and available general surgery and limited urology support.

Use Epic EMR for documentation and order management.

Complete required EMR modules and virtual training prior to first day of work.

Participate in hospital credentialing and compliance requirements within specified timeframes.

Maintain clear communication with hospital administration and respond promptly while on call.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN (within 0–5 years post-residency) – Required

Active Colorado License or IMLC (LOQ in hand) – Required

Active BLS and DEA – Highly Preferred / Required during credentialing

Proficiency with Epic EMR and completion of all pre-training modules – Required

Clean malpractice and background history – Preferred (NPDB self-inquiry required)

Must understand and comply with EMR training, credentialing, and scheduling requirements

Must provide personal contact information (email, phone) and photo for credentialing and onsite identification

Ability to manage OB emergencies, deliveries, and general GYN coverage independently
