OBGYN Physician Locums Job in California | 24-Hour Call | Beginning 2/2/2026 | 4–5 Shifts/Month | Assignment #111964

Coverage Details:
-- One OBGYN needed starting February
-- Duration: 9–12 months
-- Shifts per month: 4–5
-- Average callback hours: 5–7 hours
-- Physicians do not need to remain in-house but must be within 20-minute response time
-- Credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days

Shift Description:
-- 24-hour call for OB and Gyn ED
-- No clinic or office patients
-- Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient

Requirements:
-- Board Certified OBGYN [Highly Preferred]
-- Will accept Board Eligible
-- Active California License [Required]
-- Residency/Fellowship: IM/FP, OB GYN [Required]
-- 2 professional references [Required]
-- Certifications: BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS [Required during credentialing]
-- Clean malpractice and background for credentialing [Highly Preferred]
-- Local candidates [Highly Preferred]

Duties:
-- Full scope OB/GYN
-- Required procedures: Deliveries (C-section/vaginal), Gynecological surgeries

Additional Details:
-- Types of cases: Full scope OB GYN
-- Patients per day: 16–20
-- Deliveries per month: ~40
-- Support staff: Dedicated MA, Practice Manager
-- No NICU
-- EMR: Cerner
