Practice Setting: OBGYN Hospital/Call
Dates of Coverage: November 27th, November 28th, November 29th, November 30th
· Call ratio: 1 to 4
· Total number of beds: 9 in L&D and 20 postpartum
· Number of Physicians in practice: 4
· Support Staff: OBHG hospitalist, surgical assistants, 3 to 4 nurses each shift
· Average number of nursery admissions per day: 2 to 3 per day
· Average call back per 24hr shift: less than 1, you will receive calls from answering service
· Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
· Are any specific procedures required: C section, vaginal deliveries, suction D&C, ectopic pregnancies, ovarian torsion, abnormal bleeding
Also unreferred patients, the Laborist will take care of those patients.
