Locums OB-GYN Opportunity with Flexible Schedule in Illinois
Highlights
- In-house call coverage on the labor and delivery floor
- No clinic days, all work is hospital-based
- Ongoing need for 6-8 shifts per month
- Block scheduling with 24-hour shifts
- Travel and lodging accommodations provided
Practice Setting
- 150-bed, full-service acute care medical center
- Focused on obstetric and gynecologic patients
- Lab and pharmacy services are available onsite
- Daily patient volume includes 10-15 triages plus deliveries
Schedule
- In-house call coverage with 24-hour shifts
- Need is for 6-8 shifts per month on an ongoing basis
- Opportunity to work multiple consecutive shifts
Procedures and Cases
- Vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Circumcisions
- Emergency gynecologic cases
- Inpatient consultations
Requirements
- Board Certified in OB-GYN
- Active IL license or Open to IMLC Physicians
- Experienced in handling obstetric and gynecologic patients
- Experience with inpatient consultations and deliveries
- Clean malpractice history is preferred
Travel accommodations
- All travel is covered, including flights and lodging
- Rental car provided for the duration of the assignment
- Mileage can be reimbursed at the standard IRS rate
