seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN for locum coverage to support maternity leave and schedule gaps. The role provides care in a hospital-based Family Birthing Center with dedicated L&D ORs for C-sections.
On Call (Daily) – under $2100 - $2200 - “Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
Call Back – under $275 – “Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.”
Job Responsibilities
Manage 23–30 deliveries per month
Provide ED coverage for OB/GYN-related cases
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and other on-call specialists
Qualifications
Active California license – REQUIRED
Active DEA – REQUIRED during credentialing
Clean malpractice/background preferred
Availability confirmed at time of name clear
Working Hours
Weekend coverage required
Specific upcoming shifts:
10/14–10/16, 10/31–11/3, 11/5–11/8, 11/26–12/1, 12/3–12/6, 12/22–12/28
Skills
Proficient in Cerner EMR system
Ability to perform and manage C-sections and deliveries independently
Effective teamwork and communication in a hospital setting
