Job description We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Oct 10, 2025, and spans a 9-day duration, offering 24-hour call coverage with shifts from 7am to 7am. The role involves managing a high volume of deliveries and providing comprehensive on-call obstetrical and gynecological care.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for obstetric and gynecological patients
  • Manage and perform deliveries, with a daily range from 2 to 12 and an average of 215 per month
  • Respond to emergent and routine labor and delivery cases
  • Ensure high-quality care for mothers and newborns
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient outcomes

Additional Information
  • Solo experience and experience in a rural setting is preferred
  • California medical license required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
