OB/GYN Hospitalist opening in Seattle, WA
Location: Seattle, WA – Greater Seattle area with access to the Pacific Coast and nearby mountains
Permanent full-time opportunity with flexible 24-hour shifts at major hospitals
$20,000 sign-on bonus offered
Position Details:
- Start: As soon as credentialed
- Schedule: 6–8 flexible 24-hour shifts per month
- Setting: Inpatient – High-volume hospitals (First Hill: 6,000 deliveries/year; Issaquah: 1,800 deliveries/year)
- Role: Comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist care, including obstetric triage, deliveries, GYN emergencies, and surgical assists
- Team: Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and OB providers; academic opportunities teaching fellows and residents
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities:
- Manage obstetric triage and emergencies (ectopic pregnancies, torsions, etc.)
- Support OB and MFM teams with deliveries and surgeries
- Perform routine GYN procedures (including diagnostic laparoscopy)
- Participate in academic and teaching activities
- Provide care across a diverse patient population, from routine to high-risk
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 5 years of residency)
- Washington medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA (required before start)
- Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred
- Must already reside in or be willing to relocate to the immediate Seattle area
- Not accepting visa candidates
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $285,120 – $380,160 annually (based on shifts worked)
- $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
