- A hospital in Minnesota is seeking a locum OB Hospitalist to provide 24-hour in-house coverage starting January 2025.
- The role includes managing labor and delivery, handling emergencies, and providing inpatient obstetric care.
Job Responsibilities
Manage labor & delivery patients, including emergencies
Support deliveries at a Level 1 facility with ~400 annual births
Collaborate with residents (no supervisory responsibility required)
Provide safe, evidence-based obstetric care
Qualifications
Active Minnesota medical license – Highly Preferred
Availability for January shifts must be provided at time of name clear
Working Hours
Provider cannot cover more than 1 consecutive shift; open to 1 day on / 1 day off scheduling
Skills
Strong emergency response and inpatient OB care
Team-based collaboration with residents and staff
Familiarity with inpatient documentation processes
