OB/GYN – Locum Tenens | 24-Hour Call | MN License Required

Overview:

We are actively seeking Minnesota-licensed OB/GYNs for a locum tenens opportunity offering flexible scheduling and 24-hour in-house call coverage. This role is ideal for providers looking to take on weekend blocks or regular 1–2 week assignments per month in a low-acuity setting.

Schedule Details:

• Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Weekend Call: Friday 4:30 PM – Tuesday 8:00 AM (biggest need)

• Flexible scheduling:

  • 1–2 weeks/month preferred

  • 2–5 shifts per block

  • Willing to split coverage between two providers

  • Open to partial call availability — any amount of coverage helps

Compensation & Incentives:

• 24-hour in-house call

• Paid Holidays (00:00–23:59):

  • New Year's Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day

Clinical Details:

• Setting: Hospital

• Volume: Low acuity – approx. 300–320 deliveries/year

• EMR: Epic

• Support: 24/7 General Surgery, Pediatrics, and Tele-Neonatology

Skills & Procedures Preferred:

• Competence with:

  • C-sections

  • D&Cs

  • Laparoscopic tubal ligations

  • Management of ectopic pregnancies

Requirements:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility (within 5 years of residency)

• Active Minnesota Medical License required
