Locum – Physician – OB/GYN – Pennsylvania ‍

Rate: $1,575 / 24-Hour Call
Coverage: Hospital Call Only
Travel: Lodging covered + Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

Coverage Details

• Start: ASAP – ongoing, as needed

• Call Ratio: 1:6

• Other OB/GYNs on site during locums coverage? No

• Support Services: Onsite Lab + Ultrasound

• Practice Size: 4 physicians in group

• Credentialing: Expedited (ASAP)

Assignment Requirements

Obstetrics Procedures

• Low-risk pregnancy management (twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.)

• High-risk pregnancy management (toxemia, diabetes, cardiac, pulmonary, renal disease, etc.)

• Vaginal & low forceps deliveries

• Decision-making for C-sections

• Complicated deliveries: C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, etc.

• VBACs

• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Gynecology Procedures

• Surgical gynecology – open

• Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOA’s, chromal tubation)

• Operative/major (ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive LOA’s)

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified – Required

• Active Pennsylvania License – Required

• BLS & ACLS – Required
