Job description
- A locum OB/GYN physician is needed to provide call coverage in Langhorne, PA.
- The provider will handle a mix of obstetric and gynecological procedures, including routine and complicated deliveries, surgical gynecology, and high-risk pregnancies.
Job Responsibilities
Manage both low- and high-risk pregnancies, including labor and delivery.
Perform C-sections, VBACs, and repair of complex lacerations.
Handle gynecological surgical procedures including laparoscopic and operative interventions.
Collaborate with a team of four physicians while providing solo coverage when needed.
Utilize onsite ultrasound and lab facilities for diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania Medical License – Required.
BLS and ACLS Certifications – Required.
Working Hours
48-hour weekend call shifts.
Call ratio: 1:6.
Skills
Strong clinical decision-making under emergency and high-risk conditions.
Proficiency in routine and complex deliveries.
Skilled in surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic).
Ability to work independently during call coverage.
