OB/GYN Opportunity – Full-Time or Call-Only | Start January 1, 2026
📍 Kentucky | 6-Month Locum Tenens | KY License Required
A well-established women’s health clinic in Kentucky is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN for a 6-month locum tenens assignment, starting January 1, 2026, with the possibility to extend. This role offers flexible scheduling options, including full-time clinic + call or call-only coverage.
Assignment Overview
Start Date: January 1, 2026
Duration: 6 months (ongoing potential)
Credentialing: 30–90 days
Temporary privileges considered
KY License Required: Must be active at submission
Flexible Scheduling Options
Option 1: Full-Time + Call
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Call:
1 weekday night per week
1 weekend every 4 weeks
Weekend call = Friday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM
Option 2: Call-Only Coverage
Weekday and/or weekend call shifts available
Practice & Facility Details
Setting: Outpatient clinic + deliveries
Average Deliveries: 30 per month
Patient Population: Adults and adolescents
EMR: Athena
Support Team
2 OB/GYNs
4 Advanced Registered Practitioners (ARPs)
1 Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
2 Family Practice OBs
1:1 Provider Support: Each provider is paired with a dedicated nurse or MA
Clinical Expectations
Full-scope OB/GYN including outpatient care and deliveries
Must be comfortable placing IUDs and birth control implants
Experience with both adolescent and adult patients
No high surgical volume – general OB/GYN skills sufficient
Requirements
Board Certification: BC/BE in OB/GYN
Licensure: Active Kentucky license required
Case Logs: 2 years of recent OB/GYN case logs required
DEA: Required
Temporary privileges: Available for qualified candidates
