Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections (with or without vacuum assistance)
- Manage high-risk obstetrical deliveries
- Conduct dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures
- Provide contraceptive care including Nexplanon and IUD placement
- Perform routine gynecologic procedures such as pap smears, colposcopies, and LEEP
- Conduct minor surgical procedures including circumcisions and vasectomies
- Manage gynecologic and obstetric consultations
- Deliver care in a rural and FQHC setting
Additional Information
- Must hold a valid California medical license
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, NRP, PALS
- Experience in rural medicine, high-risk deliveries, and FQHC settings preferred
