- A hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician to provide locum coverage.
- The role involves inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services, including deliveries, C-sections, and emergency call coverage.
Job Responsibilities
Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including VBACs and C-sections.
Perform necessary surgical procedures such as repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.
Collaborate with midwives who deliver their own patients.
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
Active Kentucky License or IMLC – Required
Active DEA – Required
BLS Certified – Required
COVID vaccination – Preferred
Working Hours
Dates available: Nov 6–10, Nov 24–Dec 1, Dec 8–15
Weekend and on-call coverage required
Skills
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Strong decision-making in high-risk deliveries
Surgical and procedural skills in C-sections and repair
Effective communication with patients and staff
