Ob/Gyn Physician – Coastal Plains, North Carolina – 1 hour from Raleigh
Position Highlights:
- Join a hospital-owned women’s health center with an established patient base
- Laparoscopic experience required; hospital performs ~13 major GYN procedures/month
- No robotic surgery currently offered
- Practice consists of 2 physicians seeing a combined 25–35 patients/day
- Average 27 deliveries/month, including ~11 C-sections
- Call schedule: 1 in 4, shared with another local OB/GYN group
- Clinic hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Hospital Details:
- 146-bed community hospital
- Three labor rooms and 14 postpartum rooms (convertible to labor rooms)
- Level II nursery; critical newborns transferred to Fayetteville (30 miles) or Wilmington (60 miles)
- Graduate Medical Education program introduced with Family Medicine residents
